Recently, along the Ruili River in Dehong, Yunnan, an eco-photographer captured the complete breeding cycle of two blossom-headed parakeets over 70 days, from hatching to fledging!
This rare footage marks China's first full documentation of this species' successful wild breeding.
The blossom-headed parakeet, a nationally protected species, has a limited distribution in China, once found in Guangdong and Guangxi, but only recorded in Dehong, Yunnan, over the past 20 years.
Join us in celebrating this incredible achievement for biodiversity!
